“Am I Wrong” is a positive and uplifting pop song with African rhythms from Norwegian hip-hop duo Nico & Vinz about thinking outside the box and chasing dreams. This is a solid song for tweens and up. The song is about following your dreams and not conforming to anyone elseʼs ideals or expectations, an empowering message for kids of all ages. The tune is catchy, the beat is crisp and complex, and the lyrics are hopeful and universal. The production is top-notch, giving the Central African high-life guitar sound a modern upgrade, fusing it with elements of hip-hop and house music (and maybe even some hints of Sting and The Police). Itʼs a decidedly good-vibes track, and itʼs easy to forgive the at-times contrived lyrics.
